Filtering subversion related information from pretraining is feasible. We're releasing a research note where we remove information related to monitoring designs and successful subversion strategies in three 30B LLMs. In collaboration with @redwood_ai

When Paradise Overflows: Tourism's Hidden Wastewater Problem — and a Pipe-Sized Fix LifeQuest World Corp (OTCID: LQWC) Oct 6, 2026 Blog Every summer, the Mediterranean's tourist islands absorb a population surge their sewage systems were never built to handle. In the Balearic Islands, treated wastewater flow on the coast climbed 30.3% between 2020 and 2025, versus just 0.8% inland — and the strain shows. A recent analysis found 38 of Mallorca's 56 treatment plants exceeded their design flow in 2025, with 27.6% of annual influent arriving out of compliance, up from 15.1% just four years earlier. Rafael Tur of the regional Water Alliance put it bluntly: these plants are "silently absorbing" growth they can't keep pace with, while most of the region's 80 facilities were built before 2000 and have never been remodeled ().
