Are trading bots getting too much access by default? Been looking into how onchain trading bots handle permissions and it feels like everyone talks about adding more features but not enough about how much control the bot gets. I was reading about how Towns approaches this and their bots can have their own wallets and limited permissions inside a Space. They have a Hyperliquid bot too, which got me thinking about this more from the trading side. If a bot can interact with smart contracts for you, Iโd rather be able to restrict exactly what it can do than give it broad access just for convenience. How granular should bot permissions get before the UX becomes a pain?
