the small-bag staking protocol i switched to is now a top 10 solana validator by delegator count been staking a small bag of SOL (like 18) and standard staking rewards were basically dust, a few cents a day. the math only really works for whales. moved to a protocol called tramplin a while back mostly because the redistribution. model gives small stakers actual odds instead of everything scaling linearly with bag size. frequent rounds are flat odds now, and the big periodic one uses sqrt so whale advantage compresses from ~5000x to ~70x. its native delegation,no wrapping, SOL stays as SOL on the validator. what made me post: just saw theyre now a top 10 solana validator by delegator count (~3,800 stake accounts). for something that launched in february and is still pretty small thats a decent signal its an actual funded project, not a fork someone abandoned in a month. still early and the pool is small so absolute amounts scale with total stake, not pretending otherwise. but the structure is genuinely different from collecting 5-6% proportional to your bag. anyone else moved off standard native staking to something redistribution-based, or is that too much extra risk for the upside?
