· 2026-06-05T01:04:29+00:00Read the actual report. It wasn’t "exploited." Shielded Labs hired one of the world's top security engineers, Taylor Hornby, to proactively hunt for bugs. HE USED Opus 4.8 to find a flaw, responsibly disclosed it to ZODL, and they patched it via a hard fork in under a week.
· 2026-06-05T16:36:58+00:00Folks have mixed feelings about how ZODL handled this critical vulnerability; as it's evident in the price action. However, there's something else we are all missing. Zcash's Orchard pool has been live for up to 4 years now. Has passed several audits. No bug was discovered.

They never stopped building and kept their passion for the mission of private peer-to-peer payments. Great work y'all!
