2 source posts analyzed· 2026-06-07T04:17:20.647000+00:00I’m finally excited for Luna Classic I’ve held it only since after it dropped I think it’s been about 4 years and I totally forgot about it just to find out about the Market Module 2.0 that’s going to go live sometime later this year and I got to say it is the first time that I think the coin will actually make real progress in burning the supply down. If market module 2.0 drops and we hit a bull cycle for alt coins it will have a much larger burn effect than what we’ve had. For context since I’ve had this coin it’s only burned a bit over 400 billion which is really nothing. If we wanted this coin to hit a dollar it would take decades. Burning more and adding more utility is something I’m all for it’s become less of a “gambling meme coin” for me if the burning rate turns out to be true from Market Module 2.0 once it goes live give it a month to track the burning rate and see how it would preform if it had volume equivalent to past bull runs. I genuinely think the numbers will be tens of billions if not a hundred or 2 billion from a large bull run. Sure that’s still a drop but if that’s true and crypto bounces back while this is live another 4 years actual progress will be made. We obviously won’t know how much volume will go into swaps adding to the burning rate like I said we need to see how it performs like how much % of transactions are going through those swaps so we know how many will be burned on average but if we know that number we can understand how much % will burn through a bull run. this is actually exciting and it’s finally worth me paying attention to the coin and adding a few dollars every now and then to add more. I’m excited to see the performance and I hope a lot of the community utilizes the swap. We go from potentially 50 years plus to burn through the supply to a more profitable market to maybe a decade or less. All depends on volume obviously but we still have the transaction fees and binance burns chipping away just adding these swap burns from stable coin to LUNC or vice versa. My hope is tons of the community utilize it and a decent percent of all transactions for LUNC are stable on a monthly basis for these swaps so we can accurately track how long until we get to 4 trillion 3 trillion and 2 trillion coins. It’s still a patience game but I no longer think it’s a 50+ year process I give it 10 years max and I really think we will see it preform insanely well with the biggest burns per month and year just when we see a massive run for crypto overall. If the market becomes more stable which might itself take a year or 2 we will see the giant influx of money coming in more confidentially. Anyways yeah made a post before trying to understand market module 2.0 had to research it myself to fully understand it. Pretty much it’s a extra burn mechanism through swaps of USTC to LUNC or vice versa which on days and weeks like how are volume is currently we wouldn’t even notice the burn if it was live now. But in high volume pushes like last month for example if it was live we could’ve potentially saw around 15 to 50 billion burned exact number is going to be hard until it’s live but like I said that is HUGE. The sentiment of people pushing the coin and just making stuff up leading to these giant volume inflows will actually lead to MASSIVE burns no longer just a small like 3 billion like we have had. I really believe this is one of the biggest and best changes we can get and definitely look into what market module 2.0 does exactly for yourself you should be excited if you hold this coin and ignore the pumps I know a lot of you want the bigger numbers with your millions of coins. It’s possible as long as this goes live and has no issues. If devs read this please make it full proof so we don’t have the massive minting issue!!!! Anyways WOOOO FINALLY A EXCITING PIECE OF LUNA NEWS THAT ISNT JUST HYPE GUYS ITS REAL THE NUMBERS WILL SHOW LETS SEE HOW IT PREFORMS WHEN THE TOKEN MAKES ITS BULL RUNS! If we could burn tens of billions a month the real possibility of where we want the value of the coin is possible. Sure 1 dollar is still YEARS away but seeing 1 cent in a couple years will finally make me and I’m sure a lot of others very very excited.
