Was looking at stablecoin supply data and noticed USDS is around $9.7B with sUSDS at roughly $5.5B. So more than half the float is staked rather than sitting idle or being used for payments. Compare that to USDT or USDC where the vast majority of supply just sits there earning the issuer money instead of the holder. Different product, obviously, but the behavioural split is just there, makes me curious....... Two questions - I need help - Does a high staked ratio make a stablecoin more or less stable in a drawdown? Staked supply is stickier, but it's also chasing a rate that can move.
