With two major market events moving SPY at the same time, I found myself paying much more attention to something I usually don’t think about enough: liquidity. It’s easy to compare trading platforms based on fees or the number of assets they offer, but during volatile sessions, execution quality becomes just as important. A small difference in order book depth can mean noticeably different fills once markets start moving quickly. I spent some time comparing a few platforms that offer tokenized SPY exposure, including Binance, Gate, Ondo, and Bitget rToken. I compared a few tokenised stock platforms and quickly realised they weren't all offering the same experience. The biggest difference wasn't the interface or the fees, it was the liquidity behind the market. I think I will be giving Bitget rToken a second thoughts. Since its liquidity is sourced directly from NASDAQ and NYSE through Reality Protocol, the order book looked noticeably deeper than what I found elsewhere. During periods of higher volatility, that gave me more confidence that the price I was seeing was much closer to the price I could actually execute
