Lido is turning protocol surplus into an automated mechanism for accumulating $LDO through NEST. At launch, 50% of surplus above a $40M annualized baseline funds buybacks, capped at $50K daily. Let’s break down the mechanism. — ➤ What’s really happening? NEST makes LDO more

An infographic titled "NEST: LDO Automated Buybacks, Explained" from Lido outlines a 5-step process including Attestation, Clearing, Settlement, Auto Buybacks, and DAO-Owned, comparing Legacy vs Stablecoin Settlement.

Lido Finance makes up 24% of the ENTIRE DeFi industry... @LidoFinance isn't talking about enough. With a current TVL of $18.1 billion, $LDO account for 23.99% of the entire DeFi sector's TVL of $75.33 billion. If you add @Aave into the equation, that figure rises to 44%...

WSX Breaking: Lido dominance in DeFi is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore, with its TVL sitting around $18.1B and representing a major share of the sector. @LidoFinance continues to play a central role in Ethereum’s liquid staking ecosystem. Add @Aave to the picture,

It’s funny because 2021 was in many ways a more fundamentals driven cycle. Ethereum, Uniswap, Curve, Aave, Compound, Maker, dYdX, Axie, Opensea, Arbitrum, Polygon, Lido, GMX, SNX, and on and on, all generated substantial fees and more importantly they were growing.

The image shows a leaderboard ranking top crypto projects by cumulative earnings, with Tether leading at $19.084b across 1 chain, followed by Circle ($7.209b, 22 chains), Axie Infinity ($1.413b, 2 chains), Pump ($1.246b, 4 chains), and Hyperliquid ($1.195b, 2 chains), then OpenSea ($919.15m, 16 chains), Paxos ($861.35m, 2 chains), Sky ($744.52m, 1 chain), Phantom ($579.28m, 6 chains), and LooksRare ($558.02m, 1 chain). The chart supports the post's argument that the 2021 cycle was fundamentally driven, as projects like OpenSea and Axie Infinity generated substantial fees through genuine user activity and revenue, rather than purely speculative token price movements.
