this upcoming @TheIndexFi update is probably bigger than it looks. they called it “new contracts” and “migrating old treasuries onto the new flow” but the contract side looks way more loaded. two things are happening: 1. the existing $INDEX reward machine is getting cleaned up

A bearded forest spirit with pine cones in his hair peers from behind a dark tree trunk in a moody woodland scene, fitting the post's theme of hidden, underlying forces at play in the Index Finance update—suggesting that something significant (the contract-side changes and treasury migration) lurks beneath the surface of the seemingly routine announcement.

$INDEX is making a launchpad 2 weeks ago i told you that Indices initially were set to be a launchpad using @dopplerprotocol rail...But @TheIndexFi changed their minds and came up with a unique solution that allowed them to work with all other launchpads via Indices

The image shows a code snippet from "indices.thendex.financial/app.js" detailing launchpad parameters, including trade fees (2.5% total split between creators and platform), a 50/45/5 fee distribution model, and features like fair price oracle and trade-by-trade history sync, reflecting the technical infrastructure behind $INDEX's launchpad functionality.

$6M lost. That’s how much holder revenue has been vamp’d on INDEX, MarsCoin, and BUTTHOLE reflection tokens by other LP pools. For reflection tokens going forward, it would be wise to adopt FWA’s approach of blocking transfers except for routers like 0x and Relay so that

The image displays a dark-themed infographic titled "Holder rewards routed around," showing that reflection tokens INDEX, MarsCoin, and BUTTHOLE have lost $1.19M, $4.20M, and $601K respectively in holder rewards due to 85%, 62%, and 83% volume being bypassed by external LP pools. The accompanying post highlights the combined ~$6M loss from these reflection tokens being exploited, suggesting that future reflection tokens should adopt FWA's approach of restricting transfers to trusted routers like 0x and Relay to prevent reward leakage.

i tracked every wallet selling 5$k+ of $INDEX all of them are realizing significant losses. this isn’t smart money distributing into strength. it’s disappointed holders capitulating and the asset cleaning itself up when sellers stop taking profit and start accepting pain,

A screenshot of a crypto tracking dashboard showing multiple recent "Sell" transactions of the $INDEX token, with amounts ranging from $5.48K to $14.4K across timeframes from 35 minutes to 1 day, alongside wallet analytics displaying a negative 7D PnL of -44.1K (-60.07%) and a 7D Win Rate of 52.63%, visually supporting the claim that sellers are capitulating at a loss rather than distributing into strength.
