Last week, my first solo long-form collection @GLiFSbyEfdot sold out in presale on @opensea . It felt surreal. Within hours, we passed $100k in trading volume. The next day, we opened GLiFS.art with @TransientLabs , where hundreds of artists and collectors around [Spoken audio]: My name is F Dot. You've stumbled into my most recent experiment, Bliffs. We're on a mission to build the world's most uplifting visual language. What started years ago as 30 sketches has evolved into 300 animated symbols. Now, 3,000 collector-made compositions will be built by you through a co-creation process that we've made just for this. In 2019, I had just gotten back from a two-year stint of living and traveling around South America. I studied design and typography so I learned a lot about how letter forms work and so I'm always very hyper aware when I'm traveling of all the unique typography. I've been connected to all these different cultures over the years through mural projects, collaborations. I think it's so fascinating how certain things appeared across the world in history in completely different areas of the planet but their visual languages have commonalities. I created hundreds of these drawings when I got back to my studio. I would lay out all these eight inch by eight inch pieces of paper and just dance around the table. Put lines and dots in all yellow and then build darker and darker and darker until it's complete. Each glyph is made up of lines and dots in four different colors. There's a shadow, a highlight, and two mid-tones. They move on a seven-frame loop that are all hand-drawn coming right back to where they started. And I try to take these feelings and these stories and these moments and translate them into something that can be arranged into a larger composition. The pieces are either 2x2, 3x3, 4x4. Glyphs is an exploration of participatory art. 300 animated symbols have compiled and hand drawn over the years and created an experiment where people can play with them, express themselves, tell their story, and have some fun.

The image shows a man wearing a blue baseball cap with an "E" logo on it. He appears to be looking down at something or someone close by, possibly a book or a piece of paper. The background features a white wall, which contrasts with the dark colors of his shirt and hat. There is also a computer monitor in the scene, suggesting that he might be working or studying from home.
