· 2026-07-24T19:28:06+00:00First heard about $FWA yesterday and reminded myself that curiousity and having fun w/ new things is often rewarded in crypto As an NFT trader my first cycle, this hit the nostalgia factor and I see many angles of game theory alr [Spoken audio]: FWA Originally, I was planning on writing a thread, but I Think I don't really want to sit and write. I just wrote a big thing and posted it the other day and in that one of the main things that kind of the the points of it, I guess is I feel like crypto needs to return to the sort of greatness that it used to have where everyone was trying to find the cool new thing and try new things and be really excited about trying new tech and so the timing for FWA's launch could not be better in my opinion kind of going into a new cycle but this is one of the coolest things that I feel like we've seen in a long time. Quick rundown on on a couple different things. So, you are maybe familiar with Gasha. Gasha is essentially a loot box mechanism online. You pay to spin or roll or whatever, and you can win something. Now, whatever you win might be worth more or less than whatever your spin cost. But basically, you spin and you get something. So what the Tokenworks team has done is they've sort of flipped that. And rather than relying on like, oh, this one, gosh, a company has a bunch of supply and I'm gonna spend for Pokemon cards and I can either sell those cards back or I can get them shipped to me, blah, blah, blah. Tokenworks has enabled you to actually deposit your own NFTs onto this. basically NFT gasha platform, so Why would somebody do that when you deposit in NFT you can earn yield Let's see here so like this punk That somebody's deposited they've earned 32 ETH and yield so far Now this one specifically because it's king of the hill they get 1% of every transaction but if you scroll over to you know other NFTs that are listed here like this Pudgy they've earned 0.11 ETH in the last 11 hours this Nakamigos in a day they've earned 2.5 ETH in yield so it's a really interesting way to kind of unlock yield for NFTs that a lot of people have you know just sitting in their wallets and without really having much to do with them. So I think that that's a really interesting component. Now obviously because it's a gasha, anyone who's deposited an NFT there is a chance that if I go here and I spin a spin right now cost 0.1 ETH and I could spend 0.1 ETH and maybe I win you know this noun and then I have a couple of options. I can choose to keep the NFT, I can choose to take the ETH backing behind the NFT minus the protocol fee which gets distributed to depositors or the only way to actually get the FWA token right now is to roll your win into the token itself. There's no external buys enabled. So like if I won this now, there's 3.1 ETH backing I would be able to put that 3.1 ETH minus the protocol fee into the token itself and this creates a really interesting dynamic because for the token itself the majority of the spins that have happened have been for sub $2,000 NFT value I believe so the majority of the buys are pretty small buys, but the price action is looked pretty constructive. So if you're looking at this from like a token perspective, say you don't really care about like participating in the platform at all, even though I think that you should because it's fun. I'm not really an NFT guy and I've been ripping the spins like crazy the last couple of days. This creates a really compelling case when there hasn't been that much money in individual buys like there's no external buying happening it's only happening through um the pack rips essentially themselves so i think that's incredibly cool it also creates a sort of interesting component um when external buys are turned on eventually and buyback and burns can happen for the token. I believe from the docs, the split for the actual revenue that the protocol generates is 40% to depositors. Hang on, sorry. I'm going to check this really quick so that I don't get any information incorrect here. Let me find the docs real quick. All right, found it. So 40% will go to NFT depositors. 40% goes to purchasers for that day's pot and then 20% to buy back and burn. So I think that's pretty fucking cool. I think that creates a really interesting dynamic between the protocol users and the token itself. And over the last couple of days, let me find it here. This is a really cool sort of dashboard that was made by pre, I hope I'm pronouncing that correctly, but protocol fees, here's the fee flow. here's the fee flow. So depositors are raking it in like the biggest, what day was that yesterday, the biggest distribution to depositors was 67 ETH. And I mean, this will just get crazier as usage goes up. 259 ETH paid to the protocol so far. Well, I think that's so far. I'm not 100% sure. Maybe a little bit more than that. But the majority of people right now are taking FWA. It's actually kind of funny because a lot of people are starting to kind of hold off because you have like a grace period essentially where you can decide what you want to do like a lot of these say pending claim a lot of these say bid as the token right some people choose to keep whichever NFT they win some people you can choose to relist it and then earn yields on an NFT that you draw but a lot of people are pending claim presumably you know waiting for a dip in the chart and then they'll go and slam bids in when price is lower. But let me find the... That's funny. There we go. So something else that I found really interesting was Tokenworks has floated the idea of allowing people to deposit things other than ETH mainnet NFTs which opens this up to fwa could become an everything on chain gasha platform which is incredibly sick um imagine you know uh like this here collector excuse me collector crypt like pokemon card nfts um could become like could go cross chain maybe possibly um people People have floated the idea of token bundles, maybe ETH itself, so imagine you're able to deposit somebody specifically mentioned 0.1% of fart coin, and then somebody who's like rolling on the gasha might be able to win a chunk of the fart coin supply if they get a really good roll. So it's very fascinating. It isn't often that you run into this well designed of a closed loop system where everything feeds into the token. Everything is designed to reward the people that are interacting with the protocol regularly. And I just think that this is one of the most interesting, one of the coolest, one of the best designed things that we've seen on chain in a really long time. So thank you, huge thank you to the tokenworks team, keep crushing it, this is so fucking cool. I'll make sure to link the dashboard to underneath this post, but yeah, I would encourage you to go try it yourself, get an NFT, buy some of the token, do all that stuff, just because I think this is so cool and I'm telling absolutely everybody about it and that I possibly can. So, thanks for listening, good luck.
