I just used @astroboysoup 's DRep Match Maker website to find a new DRep that aligns with my views. I ended up delegating to Earn Coin Pool, @earncoinpool Thank you for your hard work supporting Cardano. drep.learncardano.io

[Spoken audio]: In this video, I'm going to take you through how to find a de-rep or delegate representative in the Kadano ecosystem that you can delegate your ADA to to vote on your behalf. Now, Kadano has gone through a big governance era. It started about two years ago from the time of this recording, but now you can delegate your ADA. That's just pointing your ADA to a particular person to vote on various governance proposals and changes to the protocol that come up from time to time. Now a lot of people out there reading through all these proposals for you, for me, it's very time consuming and a lot of this stuff may not make sense to you. So you need to delegate your AIDA, your voting power to other people to vote on your behalf. And a lot of these people have a lot of time, experience to be able to actually do this effectively. And I'm gonna take you through how to actually find someone that aligns with your particular views so that you can make sure that your ADA is being put to good use. So this is my DREP websites. I used to be a DREP, but it is very time consuming. So I stepped down from this particular process and my time and effort is better used elsewhere. But this little tool here, find your next DREP. You can go through this little quiz here and it will take you through the process of trying to match you up with someone that aligns with your ideals with how the Cardano governance era should go. So here I can just click on skip this and just suggest someone that have a voting power of less than 30 million ADA. So this will help decentralize the voting power. A lot of these people do contribute a lot to the ecosystem. So having the power slightly more distributed to lower powered DREPs is a good thing overall. So we have the option here just to find a whole bunch of different people within the Kedana ecosystem and you may recognize some of the names here. or you can go through and take this quiz instead. So let's start the quiz and I'll take you through exactly how this works. So we'll ask you a series of 10 questions and some of these you may not know or understand and that's totally cool. You can skip them and abstain or have no opinion on them. But here, let's go through this. So should ADA Holders Fund continue development of Eternal Wallet? So Eternal is one of the really big wallets in the ecosystem. Let's go, yes. What about the critical Kodano critical integrations V2? Yep, that's rather important. Let's go for that. Now ADA holders should fund the Kodano Summit in Singapore. Now a lot of people voted no for this one here and thought that the founding entity Kodano Foundation should vote for or pay for it themselves. So I'm gonna go no in this option here. And what about the extra upgrade for the Kodano token 2049 sponsorship tier? We, a lot of people voted no for that one. The IO research, let's go yes. Let's go Intersect Facilitated Cadano Budget Framework. Yep, let's go yes for that one. And non-Cadano Native Commercial Use cases. Oh yeah, this was the 180 million durian stuff. Let's go no for that one. Pebble TypeScript, let's go abstain for this one here. Block Frost Masons, let's go yes for this one. let's go yes for this one here as well and here we go so now this will give you a match based on your quiz results and you can see various d-reps here that's aligned with your views so earn coin pool they've got 4.16 million adder of voting power 158 delegates and they line seven and three are partial so this overall seems pretty good so now I can click on connect wallet to delegate and I will click my lace wallet here and a pop-up will appear where you need to sign into your wallet and you can see that on screen I'll just need to authorize my wallet first and now what it will do is build the transaction to actually delegate to this particular drep. So I'll pull up the transaction here so you can see exactly what's going on. So here in this transaction you can see that it's a vote delegation type to this particular drep ID with your key being the signing key and we can see how much we're paying which is 0.178 for this transaction. So not too much, let's go confirm and there we go. So now that is submitted on chain and that will be viewable in a moment. So I can actually click on view transaction and that will take me over to Kadano scan where I can actually see that transaction on chain. So I So I can see one confirmation. So it's coming in very slowly. And then I can see which D-Rap that's been delegated to. I can click on that and then confirm, I can see that it's going to earn coins pool there. So that is all working as it should be. Now last step here, I can share my progress on X as well. So here we go and I'll just click post. There we go. And that's how easy it is to delegate to a D-Rap And to actually find someone that aligns with how you would potentially vote in the Kadano governance era. So now I can just leave that and know that this particular DREP will vote on my behalf using my AIDA voting power and I can pretty much just leave that alone. Now, if you want to dig deeper, you can use the GovTools website or this one links to 1694. You can find out a little bit more about the DREP itself that you're potentially delegating to. You can find all their social media links, their motives, their timeline of delegations, how they've been voting in the past as well. So you can go through and see a lot of detailed stats on how they vote, where they vote and what they've been voting on. You can also see all the various delegators as well. And mine will appear on there very soon too. So that is how you can find a DREP in the Kodano ecosystem to delegate to very quick, very easy process these days. And hopefully this matchmaking tool that I built for everyone out there gets used a little bit more and you can find a D-Rap that aligns with your views.
