Β· 2026-09-22T15:05:05+00:00If you have seen the DigiDollar stats page and weren't sure what you were looking at, here is the quick version. DD Supply is how many DigiDollars exist right now. $DGB Locked is the collateral sitting in vaults behind them. Collateralization is how much that collateral is
Β· 2026-09-22T14:51:18+00:00When you pay a DigiByte transaction fee, it goes to the miner who puts your transaction in a block. The protocol takes no cut. No company, no treasury skimming a percentage. Whatever you pay goes to whoever did the work of including it. That is the same whether you are sending

Β· 2026-09-22T18:57:33+00:00Miners have a problem that DigiDollar happens to fit. Electricity, hardware and hosting are paid in dollars. Income arrives in DGB. Which means covering costs usually means selling coins you mined, permanently. Locking is the alternative. Put DGB in a vault, mint DigiDollars
Β· 2026-09-22T21:40:25+00:00DigiByte Core v9.26.6 RC2 is out. 24 fixes, most of them straight from your RC1 reports. DigiDollar validation no longer depends on your own wallet contents, the DigiDollar pages are clearer, and the wallet now tells you why minting is paused. All 3,755 unit tests, 404
Β· 2026-09-22T17:11:46+00:00DigiDollar concept: Dynamic Collateral Adjustment. Every node tracks how well all $DD is backed. If total backing drops below 150%, new mints must lock more $DGB , up to 2x the usual amount. Existing vaults are untouched. No admin decides. The rules adjust on their own.

Β· 2026-09-22T14:48:39+00:00DigiByte concept: Dandelion++. When you send $DGB , your node first passes the transaction quietly through a few random peers, then it spreads to the whole network. This makes it much harder for anyone watching to trace which IP address sent it. On by default.
Β· 2026-09-22T14:03:05+00:00Most stablecoins rely on fiat reserves sitting in a bank. $DigiDollar takes a different path: anchoring collateral directly to time on the #DGB blockchain. No bank accounts or central custodians, and no forced liquidation auctions during market crashes. Check it out for

Β· 2026-09-22T16:42:18+00:00You have $1,000 worth of DigiByte (DGB). You need to make a $100 payment. But you donβt want to sell your DGB just to get dollar value. What if your DGB could work as collateral to create a digital dollar instead? Thatβs the idea behind DigiDollar ( $DD ). DigiDollar is a

Β· 2026-09-22T00:05:06.106000+00:00Should I buy DigiByte (x-post from /r/Cryptocurrency)
Β· 2026-09-22T00:04:19.485000+00:00Should I buy DigiByte I keep coming back to DigiByte and wondering if I'm missing something. DGB is sitting around $0.004, far below where it has traded before. Normally I'd assume a project at this price has simply gone quiet, but DigiByte is still being developed. Yet DGB seems almost completely absent from the wider crypto conversation. That is what could make it interesting to me. Not because "cheap means it will pump", it obviously doesn't, but because the difference between the project's activity and its current valuation seems unusually large. Maybe the market has correctly forgotten about it. Maybe it is one of those older projects everyone ignores until suddenly they don't.

Β· 2026-09-22T19:45:53+00:00Crypto news: Haruko, a tech provider for trading funds, was hacked. Attackers pulled an access token out of server memory, hitting 15 clients. Some lost money. With $DGB no middleman holds your coins. They move only when your key signs, and every full node checks it.
Β· 2026-09-22T00:45:58+00:00Well put. And you shouldn't have to choose between stable value and decentralization. DigiDollar is a native stablecoin on DigiByte, a 15-second, 5-algo proof-of-work chain. The DGB backing sits in public on-chain vaults anyone can check, with no issuer or admin key.
