After numerous experiments I concluded that the best stress free, all weather, zero risk is the Base pool cbBTC/WETH with 0,01% fee tier in Pancakeswap. I sleep well because when goes up I have more WETH, when down more cbBTC. Before the August 19th pump, for two weeks the +/-1,25% range pool was continuesly in range giving 12$ per day with 5 ETH capital. The +/-1% range gave 12$ per day with 4 ETH capital and did one rebalance. The +/-0,5% range gave 12$ per day with 3 ETH capital and did two rebalances. Now because of the increased volume the performance of above pools is 24$-30$ per day each.

It seems convenient for using BTC across DeFi, especially with Coinbase backing it 1:1, but wondering if it's reliable in long term. Do you consider cbBTC safe enough to hold for a longer period, or is it better to only use it temporarily when you actually need it for DeFi? How do you think it compares to WBTC or more decentralised options like tBTC?
