August 2018 Bangkok miner meeting: Amaury Séchet (Bitcoin ABC lead) pushed CTOR & dev funding ideas while Craig Wright stormed out. No deal. Direct line to the BCH/BSV split weeks later. Fascinating Bitcoin history. @kurtwuckertjr new episode.

For those who don’t know, Freetrader was the lead maintainer for BCHN after they forked @Bitcoin_ABC . I still have no regrets about choosing XEC over BCH. 1/

What’s the strongest practical argument for BCH over BTC today?

Cain's Chronicles @caincurrency · 2026-06-11T14:52:37+00:00

Would love it if @VitalikButerin could pull some strings to right the wrongs of @coinbase when it chose BCHN over @eCash back in 2020 and never gave customers their forked XEC. I thought @brian_armstrong and @cobie were better than this. List XEC @CoinbaseAssets !!!

If only we could use Bitcoincash to buy coffee and drinking water here. That would be wonderful. Unfortunately, it's not possible yet in here.
