Many of these chunks are on spinning disks, which have a pure read latency of nearly ~10ms anyway, so the overhead is absolutely tiny.

AI visual analysis: A line graph titled 'Outbound Request Duration by Category' tracks latency in milliseconds over time, with a legend showing metrics like 'Chunk p50' at 7.02 ms and 'TX p50' at 5.21 ms.

AI visual analysis: A performance metrics dashboard showing a database query that read 6 pages and fetched 4 from cache to locate a single row in an 8.5 billion row, 171 GB index, with only 1.5 MiB of data transferred. The visualization demonstrates the efficiency claim from the post—after initial headers, index root, key table, and branch are cached, only two new chunks (page 92 and leaf page 195,114) need to be fetched via GET requests to traverse the massive database on-the-fly.

First attempt worked but hashed the complete `key=value` matches, so would have supported
