A child who doesn’t get guidance from their parents and gets used to handling everything on their own usually isn’t because they’re “super independent.” Their brain learns from a young age: relying on others isn’t safe. Their psychology is often called parentification or

The accompanying post about parentification and emotionally independent children reflects the image's message about how children who learn to be self-reliant at a young age often do so because they weren't given proper guidance, not because they're truly independent.

Good morning, one decision today could change your entire future. You do not need a perfect plan to begin. You just need the courage to take the first step. Small actions repeated every day can create extraordinary results. What is the first step you will take today?

“写给八年级学生看”不是把复杂问题说浅,而是先替读者清掉不必要的理解障碍。很多专业表达之所以显得晦涩,并非问题本身有多深,而是作者把背景、术语和结论挤在一起,默认别人已经知道自己知道的东西。能用常见词讲清楚,就先别用行话;必须用术语时,再顺手解释它在这里具体指什么。

ELI5 Snap Circuits I bought my 5 yr old a beginner's Snap Circuit kit. It has about 20 projects with pictures for each step/set up. Its been great and we're having a lot of fun. But the pamphlet doesn't exactly explain how or why its working and I don't know how to explain it to my son because I honestly dont really know how it works myself. We fiddled around with it (after trying each project in the book) and got some of our own different ways to make it work. Can someone explain in simple terms how the flow works and what parts need to be connected?
