$GS is over 10% of the weight of the Dow Jones. It has always been seen as the creme of the crop financial/bank name since the dawn of time. It is currently one of the worst performers ytd amongst its peers and is down 25% unabated since hitting ATH’s just a few months ago peak

We are told US treasury's are substantially outperforming other DM sovereign markets. If true why is the Treasury considering selling less of them? Wouldn't you want to take advantage of the relative strength? I would

In the mid 1990s, it was unthinkable to use your credit card on the Internet. Slowly people got used to it. Security improved. Now it's routine. Same thing will eventually happen with giving AI agents all your financial data. Probably. But yeah, it still feels weird.

$PLTR Ascending triangle breakout over a whole number (200) into new all time highs. This is about as clean as they get. This is one of my favorite setups going into next week. It needs to hold over 200 to be relevant but I am looking for new all time highs. Long idea over 210

This is just an opinion from someone who has watched space stocks almost exclusively as a basket for the last 5-6 years, 8 hours per day, 5 days per week (unless on a devious adventure somewhere around Planet Earth): Elon has built the Death Star. Yes, $SPCX is the new Empire.

A financial dashboard displaying major market indices (Dow Jones, S&P 500, NASDAQ, Russell 2000) alongside a list of space-related stocks with their tickers (e.g., SPCX, RKLB, ASTS, LUNR), prices, and percentage returns, most of which are shown as significant losses (e.g., RKLB -40.57%).

Do I need an MSB license to buy unused prepaid gift cards and cash them out? I've been trying to get clarity on a regulatory question that's holding me back from launching a small project, and I'd appreciate some insight from anyone familiar with U.S. financial regulations. The idea is to buy unused prepaid gift cards from individuals and use the balances myself or cash them out online or in physical stores. I'm not looking to resell the cards. I've already built the web app, but I'm hesitant to launch because I'm unsure whether this business model would classify me as a Money Services Business (MSB) or trigger any other licensing requirements under U.S. law.

what i'd write down before buying any leveraged ETF (TQQQ, SOXL etc) been seeing more of these questions lately with TQQQ near highs again, people asking if they should put their roth or a chunk of savings in it. not gonna tell anyone not to. but if you're doing it i'd write a few things down first, notes app is fine, before you buy. how much, as a % of everything you have. if it's 10% and it runs up to 25% you know it's time to trim.

Self-managed glide paths in Fidelity UNIQUE 529s for kid 6 years out - sanity check? I’m a California resident, so there’s no state tax deduction for 529 contributions. I chose Fidelity’s New Hampshire UNIQUE plan over ScholarShare and my529 mainly for the convenience of keeping everything under one login. I know ScholarShare’s passive portfolios are cheaper (roughly 0.07% vs. 0.12% for UNIQUE’s age-based index portfolios). I skipped the age-based options because I don’t want intermediate bonds in the nearer-term account after seeing stocks and bonds fall together in 2022. Prepaid Visa no ATM fee I’d heard that the new prepaid Visa would have quicker ATM fee reimbursement than the prepaid Mastercard. I recently received my Visa and after activating it via the app, went to try a withdrawal as a test as I will be travelling soon. I also was testing my Wise card which will be my backup. Scotia charged $4.50 for the Wise card and there was no fee charged for the WS prepaid Visa. It did seem like the transaction took a little longer for the Visa so perhaps the reimbursement happened in the back end somehow. But the end result was the withdrawal slip showed the exact amount I withdrew with no fee.
