A woman with bright blue hair and glasses is shown in a stylized portrait with text reading "I WENT TO COLLEGE SO THAT MAKES ME BETTER THAN YOU. NOW PAY OFF MY LOANS YOU UNEDUCATED RACIST." The meme mocks a stereotype of self-entitled college graduates, tying into the post's claim that the education system has produced this type of person.

I started university in 2019. Back then, I was trying to read 10-15 books a year. Sometimes I'd borrow them, sometimes buy them and gift them to someone after reading. I didn't even have a dream of building a bookshelf. I'd read whenever a book came into my hands or crossed my

A man spends 50 years teaching at MIT. He knows his time is running out. So he records one last lecture — everything he knows, distilled into a single hour. He died 5 months later. This is that lecture. The most important hour you'll watch this week. Bookmark it for later

Today’s DBMS learning: Transactions → A transaction = a group of database operations treated as one unit. → Example: Transferring money between two bank accounts → Money deducted from A → Money added to B. → If one step fails, the transaction should roll back.

How can I begin a career when I have few skills and a history of short-term employment? I graduated from a liberal arts college with a history degree in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. Freaking out about my future, I enrolled in postgraduate school. I graduated with an MSc in International Politics in 2023. Since then, I have had a series of short-term, low-paying gigs, nothing approaching a career. I worked in RFPs for about two months a year after graduating from my MSc, and then spent eight months as a pharmacy cashier. I now live in Latin America with my retires parents, making a pittance teaching English. The worst part is that I haven't really developed any concrete, technical skills. I am bilingual (English/Portuguese) but not much else. I turn 29 this month and am Very concerned about my future.
