Recently I found myself needing to plan some very large Roth Conversions. I had questions. Should I do it in 2 years or 3? Roughly how much will the tax actually be? How much should I withhold? Since the conversion (and the withholding) need to be done by December 31, I can't just wait until I do my 2026 tax return. This site will do this, and the 2026 data is already loaded. I hope this helps someone.

Nvidia alone is 8.3%, Apple 7.4% and Microsoft 5.8%; the fund holds about 500 stocks. So holding 500 names and being diversified aren't the same thing when the weight is this lopsided, which means a good part of what an S&P 500 fund does comes down to whether those 9 keep going. I'm not saying don't own it but the "one fund covers everything" is a position on 9 companies, and it's worth knowing that's what you hold.
