$ZEC is a great coin but this take makes 0 sense in 2017 you traded alts against btc pairs on exchanges before stables blew up (ltcbtc, linkbtc, etc) in 2021 you bought defi coins onchain paired with eth in 2024 you bought memecoins on solana paired with sol in 2026 you don't
