My first problem is that I am basically scraping by with the current setup. I can get cell service but the range from my booster is very limited (bars drop off in a couple feet) and data is even more limited due to the location. I suspect that some of that signal loss is due to the cable length so anything I can claw back from that loss is important. My second problem is there's the lack of grounding. In theory, I would just not use the booster when we get a lightning storm by disconnecting the coax (as well as when not there) but there still exists potential static build up which should be sent to ground.
