They don't seem to have anything good as a retention bonus. Active Promotions (ending this month) BMO has the 2% cashback promotion (up to 250k) and afterwards is 1%. This time period for hold is 1 year. TD has the 3% cashback promotion for register accounts and 1% for non register promotions with a max $15k cashback but hold is about 2 years. I think I got enough funds to do a mixture of these two bank promotions. I could max the TD accounts to get the max $15k. So this would be about 1.5% cashback/year. At BMO, I can find funds to get the 5K + more.
