Why do people keep saying gas fees are unpredictable when there are literally tools to estimate them I keep running into this weird contradiction while trying to understand how Ethereum transactions work. Everyone talks about gas fees being this wild unpredictable thing, but then I see sites like Etherscan showing estimates and even letting you set priority levels. So which is it. I get that network congestion changes things, but if the fee market is based on supply and demand for block space, shouldn't there be some pattern you can follow. Like during certain hours or days when fewer people are transacting. I tried looking at historical data but honestly I just confused myself more because some spikes seem random and others line up with big events or launches.
