Client's shop is on their own domain but the checkout is hosted by the payment provider on theirs. Customer leaves, pays, comes back to a thank you page. Conversions are coming through but the attribution is nonsense. A lot of purchases show up as referrals from the payment provider, which is obviously wrong since that's where I sent them. I know cross domain linking exists. What I can't work out is whether it helps when the middle domain isn't mine and I can't put anything on it.
