Please help Hi, About 3ish? months ago I went to go install a new OS on my computer (was moving away from 11 and back onto 10) and my pc got stuck on a windows update. I'm talking full hour stuck at 99 .. for no reason. Now in the past when this happened I just reached around the back and gave the PSU a little switch off and on and everything was fine and dandy. Until this day, when after switching it back on... nothing happened. I thought it maybe didn't register it yet or something of that sort, so I give it another flick and try again. I got it to boot for maybe 3 seconds before it turned itself off again, no beep code or LED warning. I checked all the cables, tried to POST by contacting the power button pins on the board, no avail. No boot at all anymore. Then 3 months later after being sick of using my laptop, I bit the bullet and finally bought a new PSU, because I assumed that's what was the point of failure. Came home today, got it installed.. and nothing. 50 dollars gone out of my wallet.. so where do I go from here? There was no smoke or burning smell, and as far as I can tell I don't see any obvious damage on the board. Do I just need to shoot myself in the other foot and finally buy a board?
