The most important thing Sui showed at Basecamp wasn't 40 million TPS. It was the architecture behind it. On stage today, Mysten co-founder Adeniyi Abiodun described Sui with an analogy: "Think of Sui as a court." Agents agree on rules when they open a tunnel. They transact privately and at machine speed. They settle when they close it. The chain stays out of everything in between unless there's a dispute. I think that's the clearest statement yet of what Sui is trying to become. It isn't a chain that processes every machine interaction. It's the neutral layer underneath them: authority before a transaction, proof after it, settlement and dispute resolution when the parties disagree.
