Idea on why financial institutions love BTC so much I’m somewhat convinced the reason financial institutions love Bitcoin so much and why its success dwarfs every other crypto asset is due to two reasons: It’s the original native crypto asset - There have been no major deviations or significant internal hard forks ever since its original inception and whitepaper release. It’s been running 23 years since the last internal hard fork. Project maturity - it’s been around the longest meaning it’s had the most number of technical eyes on the original whitepaper looking for hidden vulnerabilities and exploits in its protocol implementation and codebase.
