Recommendations on fields to get into? Hi all, I’m a newbie to this sort of thing and am looking for a bit of advice. So currently, I work Assisted Living overnights and make good money doing so. My schedule is 7 on 7 off 10 hours a week. Most of my shift I do jack, I have a few responsibilities, but all in all I seriously average 6-8 hours of free time a night. I’m very interested in doing something during the free time I have during work and my week off. Before this I was in the trades, so the only white collar stuff I’ve done is RE. My biggest issue right now is that I really have no idea what direction I want to go or what opportunities are available for remote work. So I was curious if anyone had any recommendations for fields to get into or where I can find more information on what’s out there.

Biology Studies A.A. or Environmental Biology A.S.? I want to work with animals. It's hard for me to narrow it down more than that, so I'm looking for advice on which major to choose and which career path I should go for. I am interested in hands-on working with animals whether it's in something like a zoo or aquarium, or in a laboratory setting. I love science, have an interest in conservation and invasive species, wildlife rehab, and exotic animals. I think there is a wide variety of jobs that would make me happy, but probably some jobs that would be more fulfilling. I live in a HCOL area, so I should keep pay rate in mind, but it's not what is most important to me.
