My HSA account is sitting at $15K-$16K, and I'm maxing my yearly contribution. I'm nearly 40 years old so my thought was to take $10K and do a set-it-and-forget it approach and invest that, and then leave the $5-6K for any major health issues that could arise, as well as paying for my more expensive health costs (therapy, the random expensive medication, etc).
