· 2026-10-06T17:01:55.177000+00:00Is there ANY chance it was the chipset driver… Soo, I have a pretty beefy fat ass rig, (upgraded overtime to this), ryzen 5800x3d (b450 motherboard) , 32gb ram and a 4090, soooo I’ve been playing 2 games lately, rust and witcher 3, both of which felt like ‘lagging’ alot, i’m on 4k, and regardless of what I do it felt like something was missing, well today I checked my amd drivers and it appewrently was 2024’s version (I updated it back then), and I downloaded the new b450 chipset from amd so it’s all up to date now, after restart suddenly BOTH those games saw ABSURD fps increase, i’m talking 50-80% or even more CONSISTENT fps increase, my pc has the same exact setup and ‘undervolts’ (ryzen is at -25 all coresin a pbo like program) and msi afterburner puts my gpu at 80% (nothing else tuned)
