I’m looking for a new monitor and I’m having a hard time deciding between a 32” 4K OLED and a 27” 1440p OLED. Currently I am on a 1080p TN monitor with 5070TI + i5-14600K on a DDR4 platform. The thing is I don't really know if 4K is significantly better than 1440p or if 4K DLSS Ultra Performance is better than 1440p DLSS Quality. I tried to compare them on my monitor but I cannot see any difference since I am on 1080p. Based on benchmarks, on every game at 4K with Path Tracing, I get +60 FPS with DLSS Ultra Performance and roughly 40-50 FPS with DLSS Performance, so at 4K I’ll mostly be relying on Ultra Performance. On 1440p DLSS Q I get over +60 FPS most of the time. Which will be the better choice, 4K or 1440p?
