Then found out about put spreads that helps to lower the capital requirement. I keep reading that it's best to go 30-45 dte, but I've been having decent luck doing weeklies, mainly on memory/semis. I don't hold until expiration, averaging 2.1 days hold on 15 completed trades, capturing about 64% of the net credit collected. What advantages would I have by going the 30-45 dte route?
