Our latest #Graf model is definitely wanting to develop #Invest92L into #Isaias like the #GFS model. Our other models aren't as aggressive with development. Our spaghetti models will start coming out shortly and will be a huge help figuring this one out. #weshwx

Nolo is no longer a hurricane but that is only cuz she crossed the dateline and is now a typhoon. She remains healthy for now. The current intensity estimate from JTWC is 105 kts but this may be a tad baerish since the large eye is now near 20°C, I'd personally go with 110 kts.

your brain decides what counts as your body. stroke a fake hand at the same time as someone's real hidden hand, and within minutes most people start to feel the fake one is theirs. threaten it and they flinch for a hand that was never theirs. x.com/Rainmaker1973/ …

Impressive! Over 90 Opus 5.5 instances spent 3 days digging up materials that had been searched for for decades! Scientists have always wanted a type of magnet: where magnetic properties cancel each other out, with almost no stray magnetic fields, but electrons still separate

I pointed my telescope at a dying star for 30 hours to capture this: a detailed look at the expanding planetary nebula. A similar fate awaits our sun. This is January’s image in my 2027 Cosmic calendar, now available for preorder: cosmicbackground.io/products/2027-

I think the main problem is awarding these prizes for specific discoveries rather than lifetime achievements. By focusing on individual discoveries, you inevitably exclude researchers whose contributions were essential.

THIS STORM WAS MOVING FAST. Intense lightning, powerful winds, and a storm system rapidly pushing east into the night. I barely managed to stay ahead of it long enough to capture the scene. Nature doesn’t need special effects — it creates them itself.
