And In the last 6 months, I have been doing extensive data logging of every drive I have ever taken. The main thing I noticed is that I have driven just over 10,000 miles. 7,000 miles was normal daily driving, and the remaining 3,000 was a big road trip. In 6 months, I have spent $226 to go 7,000 miles, and $290 on my 3000 mile road trip. (Average was $.43 per kWh. at the public chargers) That means the cost per mile is a little over 5.16 cents a mile overall. And if I just count the local driving, it is down to 3.2 cents per mile. The road trip was a bit more at about 10.3 cents a mile.
