TIL that an outlaw isn't any mere criminal, but rather a criminal who has been sentenced to be "outside of the protection of the law". He has no right to trial, and can be killed or persecuted by anybody.

I quit a 9 LPA IT job to build real projects and land a real engineering role. Looking for people in Chennai who want to do the same. Hey everyone, I graduated in 2024 with a CS degree and joined a big IT services company straight out of college, with a 9 LPA package. Like most freshers, I thought the hard part was over. It didn't turn out that way. For most of my 1.5 years there I was on the bench, with no real project and no real work. The pay was good, but I never felt I deserved it, because I wasn't building anything or contributing anything. I kept myself busy learning skills on my own, but when you never get to ship anything with them, they fade fast. After a while I noticed I was getting comfortable, and that scared me. I knew that if I stayed, I'd be in the same place two years later, just with a bigger salary and no real experience.
