· 2026-10-05T16:30:00+00:00Kiselev had a rule for critics. Don’t argue. Rewrite. When a respected professor found weaknesses in his algebra, Kiselev revised the book instead of defending it. He did this for decades, edition after edition. The course passed 30 editions before 1917 and more than 10 after.

· 2026-10-05T17:26:35.877000+00:00How do I choose a career path when I’m interested in too many things and keep feeling stuck? Hey, so for some quick context: I’m 29 years old and currently working at a tech startup. I don’t have a formal background in tech, and honestly, I feel pretty stuck and unsure about how to build a career around something I’m genuinely passionate about. I envy people who seem to choose a concrete career path from a young age, stick with it, and spend years getting really good at it. In my case, I’ve always been interested in way too many things. For example, I know video editing and have been trying to pursue it more seriously. I’m currently learning Blender. I’ve studied Python and programming. I know a fair amount of Japanese. I’ve taught languages online. I have a rock band where I play guitar. I’ve worked as a carpenter. I’m also interested in things like electronics, making/building things, and generally learning how stuff works.
