The goal isn’t to avoid mistakes. It’s to make mistakes that teach you something.

We need a design exploration group that is a mix of MIT Media Lab (research) + Vice (reportage) Where the goals are: 1. Investigate what's actually possible, what's coming, 2. Suspend disbelief + immerse themselves for a period 3. Return back with reportage + discernment

Master's Degree Research Hi! My name is Izzy and I am an MBA student at Anatolia American University. I am conducting research for my MBA thesis, “Why Do Retail Traders Engage in Short-Term and Speculative Trading?” I am looking for adults (18 years of age or older) who have personal experience with short-term or speculative retail trading, such as trading stocks, options, futures, forex, or CFDs. Participation involves a 45 minute individual online interview conducted through Google Meet (audio option). You will be asked about your experiences with short-term or speculative trading, including your motivations for trading, experiences with financial gains and losses, perceptions of trading and profitability, and the similarities or differences you perceive between speculative trading and gambling. Some questions may address potentially sensitive experiences involving financial gains and losses. You may choose not to answer any question that makes you uncomfortable and may stop the interview at any time. Participation is entirely voluntary. There is no compensation for participating in the study. If you are interested in participating or would like more information about the study, please contact me directly:
