One day the market will be more than just 5 hyperscalers using trillions in off balance sheet debt for circular transactions... but not yet: 14th day in a row of more 52 week lows than highs

A two-pane financial chart showing the S&P 500 (INDEX) closing at 7722.72 in the lower panel, paired with an upper histogram tracking the daily difference between new 52-week highs and lows on the S&P, currently at -37, visually reinforcing the post's point about sustained market breadth deterioration (14 days of more 52-week lows than highs) beneath an index propped up by a handful of mega-cap hyperscalers.

5.27% now but whatever the government is super competent and will totally fix everything

A party scene shows people drinking and dancing, with a guy in a white shirt standing alone holding a red cup, looking detached from the group, while overlaid text reads "THEY DON'T KNOW THE 10-YEAR YIELD IS AT 5.12%." The image satirizes the original post's sentiment by suggesting partygoers are blissfully unaware of (or indifferent to) the alarming 10-year Treasury yield figures—both the original 5.12% and the updated 5.27%—despite the government's supposed competence to manage the situation.

So like There's no way this is priced in

The image shows a partnership announcement between **SMBC Nikko** and **Uniswap**, featuring the logos of both companies (SMBC Nikko's geometric mark and Uniswap's unicorn icon) with a pink "×" between them on a dark gradient background.

This relates to the post because it appears to announce SMBC Nikko (a major Japanese investment bank) collaborating with Uniswap — a significant traditional finance and DeFi convergence that the post suggests the market hasn't fully priced in yet.

Conagra's operating cash flow went negative last quarter. I walked the 10-Q line by line to see how bad that is. Two weeks ago I posted a walk through Conagra's FY26 10-K and asked what the Q1 print would say about whether last year's cash was the floor. I also missed that they had already halved the dividend, which someone here caught. Q1 came out Wednesday, so this is the follow-up, and this time I read the release first. Short version: operating cash flow was negative $4.2 million, against positive $120.6 million a year ago. That looks ugly, and it's the first negative Q1 I can find going back to 2016. But before working capital the business brought in more cash than last year. The whole drop is working capital.

I don’t get why people use the 2021 $GME peak price as data to predict the next peak. That data is invalid because they turned off the buy button you fucks. That peak wasn’t natural, so why are you using that as your data point? I see some FUD numbers out there. A few hundred?

NT Data for Automated Trading I've been working on an automated trading system with diversified strategies. All the strategies have been profitable every year from 2020 to Oct 1st 2026. In the backtest it has made 300k over those 6 years trading 1 MNQ contract per entry. The result is good and I'm excited so yesterday I started it in a live account. My issue is that in recent years we have had a lot of volatility so I would like to backtest it in years prior to 2020, but unfortunately, I don't have the data to do so. Does anybody have data for prior years? It usually sits on the DB folder inside the NT folder. If you have it please let me know. Thanks.

Try another Monday again or time to say bye I’m aware this may sound desperate, but I honestly don’t know what else to try anymore. I was up $8k on Wednesday, got out so early from my QQQ calls yesterday in the worst time, kind of messed me up weekly routine. I literally sold low of the day for 15 cents, where the long call options went upto $2 in 1 hour after I sold. Got into a bunch of different calls and puts, they were all wrong thx to theta gang. Account is zero again. I don’t even know how many dozens of time I saw account back to few cents. I started trading options in 2012. Got years very profitable, gave back everything made to the market & quit for few years. I am addicted to 0dte, not gonna lie a horrible addiction. I’ve been spending the last 10+ years trying everything possible to make a trading options work consistently, testing strategies day and night, learning, failing, tweaking, and starting over again. No matter what I do, I can’t find the edge..

Newbie to self directed IRA I've decided to break up with my AUM advisor. I retired at 62. Currently 69 (70 late Oct). Rolled employee 401k to investment firm. After splitting with ex I'm currently at about 875k. My advisor put me into a basically three bucket strategy and hasn't done anything since. Considering I'm going to start RMD's in a few years I started reading up about converting to Roth. I'm already drawing SS @ about 35k/yr. I was withdrawing 6800/mo and they were withholding 25% taxes. I'm not going to take any withdrawals in 2027.After researching conversions I stopped 2026 withdrawals in Sept. I them had to ask advisor to convert 20k to Roth. I did the math and I'll owe a very small amount in taxes on the conversion. I still have room to convert about 10k without pushing me out of 22% bracket and I'll stay within tier 1 IRMAA. He has never suggested conversions. I asked him about RMD's and he said I'll be fine. I won't be able to spend the money I have so I want to leave to my kids. That's what prompted the Roth thoughts. I get no tax advice, estate planning .... Only a Merry Christmas email every year. I uploaded my statement to AI and found out the funds he put me in averaged out to 0.66%. Add that on top of his 1% and it's costing me about 15k/ yr.

Splitting your money evenly sounds like the lazy answer. Three researchers ran 14 portfolio optimizers against it across seven datasets. None beat it consistently. To beat an even split of 25 stocks, they estimated an optimizer would need about 250 years of monthly data.

A dark infographic titled "History needed to beat an even split" compares the months of data required to outperform an even portfolio allocation across various assets: Robinhood Chain since mainnet (3 months), Bitcoin since the genesis block (~213 months), US stock data (CRSP) since 1926 (~1,210 months), beating 1/N with 25 stocks (~3,000 months / ~250 years), and beating 1/N with 50 stocks (~6,000 months / ~500 years). The chart visually reinforces the post's claim that beating a naive even split of 25 stocks would require roughly 250 years of monthly data, highlighting just how resilient simple diversification is against sophisticated optimization techniques.
