I opened five fresh logged-out conversations, didn't regenerate anything, and asked five different shopping questions ranging from broad independent fine jewelry to much more specific things like Gothic jewelry and black diamonds. The weird part: 36 recommendation slots produced 32 different brands. Only four brands appeared more than once. Specificity changed the recommendations a lot. I also explicitly told ChatGPT I was a shopper in the United States, but it still surfaced Tel Aviv designers and even showed some prices in ₪.
