I'm an investment banker and got my first credit card, the IDFC First Millennia, about a year ago with a meager credit limit of 20k per month. That was sufficient since I live with my parents, and the card was mainly for occasional emergency use. In June 2026, I got a HUGE hike and opened a salary account with ICICI (which I now realize might have been a dumb move). They issued me an ICICI Coral card with a very high monthly limit and I rarely use even 15% of it. However, my main issue with both cards is that there are no rewards (ROS) at all. Because of this, I'm planning to get the HDFC Swiggy Orange card, as most of my spending goes toward groceries and online shopping. I'm not a heavy spender, but I figured something is better than nothing.
