I knew my stop was right. I moved it anyway. Had a trade a while back that still bothers me more than it probably should. The setup itself wasn't even bad. i knew where the trade was wrong, had the stop in place, and there really wasn't such to think about once i was in. Then price started getting close to it. That's when i started doing that thing where you stop following the plan and start explaining the chart to yourself. Probably just a stop hunt. Give it a little more room. The thesis hasn't actually changed. So I moved the stop. Then price bounced a little. Not enough to fix anything, just enough to make me feel smart for about thirty seconds.
