RLUSD just hit 89% lending utilization against FXRP. Is XRP DeFi finally becoming a real thing? Just saw some interesting numbers regarding Ripple’s stablecoin. Currently, there’s about $7.13 million in RLUSD supplied and $6.35 million borrowed against FXRP in lending markets (looks like it's happening on Morpho). That’s an 89% utilization rate right out of the gate, which is pretty high for a newly introduced pair. It essentially means 89 cents of every dollar supplied is already being put to work. I know XRP has historically been heavily isolated to payments and institutional use, but seeing capital being deployed this aggressively makes me wonder if a genuine DeFi ecosystem is finally taking shape around it via Flare/FXRP?
