tested a simple trading bot on paper for 6 weeks. fees were 10%+ of the account every single week been running a few simple bots on paper (no real money) against real binance prices since august one of them buys whatever's going up and sells as soon as it stops. sounds reasonable right? it ended up making about 550 trades a week, and at binance's normal 0.1% fee that was 10 to 12% of the account gone every week. just fees, before it even got anything wrong the one that just buys a bit every 6 hours and never sells won 3 of the 6 weeks is this basically why everyone here says just dca into bitcoin and leave it alone? or does anyone actually trade often without getting eaten like this
