Moving away from 100% BTC. How much should ETFs and TradFi go into? Hey everyone. I posted here for looking for some advice about allocating my money. Quick intro: I’m a law student, my parents cover my living expenses, and I have about $300 every two weeks to invest. I used to want to put 100% in BTC, but after reviewing some threads, I don’t want everything to depend on one asset. Still, I want a long-term portfolio. The split I have in mind is 60% Bitcoin, 30% in an index ETF, and 10% TradFi. I also plan to buy the BTC and TradFi portion both on bydfi using USDT spot pairs. That would let me manage those two parts in one account without switching platforms to place trades. For the TradFi, I mean products like tokenized stocks or precious metals, though I haven’t decided which yet. I’d also need to check how much those holdings overlap with whichever ETF I choose.
