Scalpers — good win rate but giving profits back. Advice? I do quick crypto futures scalping, usually holding trades for 1–5 minutes. I can often get multiple profitable trades in a row, but my biggest problem is that I take profits quickly while holding losers longer. I convince myself a red trade is just a wick/liquidity grab and will come back. A lot of times it does, which probably reinforces the habit, but eventually one doesn’t and wipes out several previous winners. After a bigger loss, I sometimes also start trading differently trying to recover it, which can turn into a losing streak. I also realized I’m not really trading by math. My and are often decided in the moment. I’m thinking about switching to . Basically let my win rate play out instead of trying to manage every trade emotionally. My only concern is that with 1–5 minute scalps, tight stops can easily get wicked out.
