Digital asset banking introduce risk categories exisiting farmeworks do not cover. As institutions explore digital asset banking, risk teams keep finding gaps. Key management has no banking analogue. Smart contract risk, blockchain congestion, validator slashing, oracle failures, settlement finality differences, all outside conventional taxonomies. I landed on a hybrid, Basel where possible, new categories where not. Weighting is unclear with limited loss data. Building new categories, adapting, or hybrid. How are you calibrating.
