An LTC daily close can arrive while you are asleep The part of "just use the daily chart" I'd struggle with is the clock. LTC keeps trading all night, but the chart still has a set time for each daily candle to finish. If that happens while I'm asleep, checking the chart after dinner doesn't really solve anything. The candle isn't finished yet. Say the plan is a hypothetical LTC/USDT spot buy on BYDFi after a daily close above resistance, with a stop at a fixed lower level. By morning, the candle might have closed where I wanted and price might have moved higher again. I can still buy, but I'm now farther from that same stop. Buying the same amount of LTC would mean a larger planned loss at that fixed stop, before fees and any slippage. That's a different entry from the one I planned.
