Lost ~30K with crypto I’d deposited around €4,000 and steadily climbed to €30,000. Everything seemed perfect, and I felt invincible. Then, on a weekend with low trading volume, I decided to open a short position on Zcash. It seemed overpriced, and at one point I was up €4.5k. However, I ended the day fully liquidated, losing around €22k. At 19, this is quite shocking. Now I’m also €4.5k in debt. How do you mentally recover from a loss like this? I feel like I could make money by avoiding crypto trading, but I’m back at zero and in debt, so getting back into trading isn’t an option right now.
