How do you personally treat Bitcoin as a long-term savings/retirement investment? I’m treating Bitcoin as a long term savings/retirement investment, but I’m wondering if it’s okay to occasionally sell a small amount once it grows to a decent size. For example, if I eventually had enough Bitcoin where selling 3% could pay for a holiday, a new TV, or something like that. Especially since we have the R50k annual CGT exclusion on capital gains in my country. I also have other investments like VOO, so Bitcoin isn’t my entire retirement portfolio. Just curious how you guys approach this. If your Bitcoin grows to a large amount, do you actually never touch it, or do you take a little out every now and then and enjoy some of it?
